Azam Khan was a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, record producer, and lead singer for the pop-rock band “Uchcharon”. He was also a freedom fighter who took part in the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971. He is considered to be one of the greatest artists in the history of Bangladeshi popular music.
Azam Khan was a great supporter of Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI)’s mission for helping underprivileged children in need. He also promoted DCI’s mission through his music. Therefore, to remember his contribution to DCI’s mission, DCI’s Sun-Child Band is presenting a Tribute Concert in memory of Azam Khan. Dr. Ehsan Hoque will be addressing the audience virtually.
